A truck drives past an eroded US 98 outside of Eastpoint, Florida after Hurricane Kate slammed the Florida panhandle near Apalachicola, Florida November 21, 1985. Kate, a late November Hurricane, was latest forming Atlantic hurricane on record at the time and was the second for the area following Hurricane Elena two months earlier.
