1300 evacuees pack seven hallways of the Mosley High School in Panama City as Hurricane Opal approaches the Florida panhandle as a category three storm when it came ashore near Pensacola, Florida October 4, 1995.  It was the strongest hurricane of the 1995 season and killed 63 people, 13 in the United States.  Hurricane Opal's name was retired the following year.
