The U.S. Marine honor guard stand watch over the body of their fallen comrade Lance Cpl. Daniel B. Chaires during the funeral service at the Chaires United Methodist Church in the Chaires community Thursday, Nov. 2, 2006. Chaires was killed in action on Oct. 25 while serving with the Marines in Iraq.
