What's left of Pineapple Willies on Panama City Beach, Florida after Hurricane Opal impacted the Florida panhandle as a category three storm when it came ashore near Pensacola, Florida October 5, 1995. Five employees rode out the storm inside as the strongest hurricane of the 1995 season stuck. The tropical cyclone killed 63 people, 13 in the United States.  Hurricane Opal's name was retired the following year.
