Traffic heads across the St George Island bridge as Hurricane Juan brushes the Florida panhandle coast October 31, 1985. The bridge and causeway were being repaired from Hurricane Elena a month and a half before when Juan turned the seas angry damaging much of the repair work. Juan was the costliest hurricane of the 1985 season that also saw Danny and Elena. Juan made landfall near the Florida-Alabama border.
