Leon County Sheriff's Department honor guard stand at attention while the body of US Marine Lance Cpl. Daniel B. Chaires is loaded onto a horse drawn carriage for the ride to the Chaires United Methodist Church outside of Tallahassee Nov. 2, 2006. Chaires was killed in action on Oct. 25, 2006 while serving with the U.S. Marine Corps in Iraq.
