Fearful Night mw 021500.jpg
David Cooper, who lived with his wife and three kids one mile south of Camilla on SR 112, describes how his wife and three kids, along with a little girl that was visiting for the night , all cramed into the hallway that is barely visable anymore just over his right shoulder and running from the kitchen (L) back to the bedrooms of what is left of their 4 bedroom 2 bath home. Cooper was at work at the time and describes how his family escaped the tornado by digging out and kicking out a window and the fear he had upon his arrival on the scene in the pitch blackness as he "started screaming his wife's name" he said. Adding "I thought I'd lost my whole family."
