Reportage

Twenty-year-old Chris Paulette walks along a five foot in diameter oak tree that split the house he rents in half as Tropical Storm Jeanne passed through Tallahassee, Florida in the early morning hours of September 27, 2004. Paulette was pulled from his bed under the wood and insulation that buried him in his bedroom (inside the window, at right) by roommates.
