Neighbors help secure boats that have broken loose in the flooded Blackwater River near Milton, Florida after Hurricane Georges September 29, 1998. Georges made six landfalls through the Caribbean Sea and Gulf of Mexico before making it's 7th and final landfall near Biloxi. 604 people were killed mostly in Dominican Republic and haiti. Because of the extensive damage, the name Georges was retired and will never be used again.
