A meteor from the Orionids Meteor shower streaks through the Milky Way over Cash Creek which flows out of Tate's Hell swamp into Apalachicola Bay. The horizon lights are from Eastpoint on the left and Apalachicola. The main galactic core of the Milky Way will drop below the horizon line in the northern hemisphere the end of October through April so get out in the dark and enjoy it why you can.
